Jennifer Gordon

Jennifer Gordon es la profesora John D. Feerick en la Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Fordham en la ciudad de Nueva York, donde dicta cursos en las áreas de inmigración, derechos laborales y regulación gubernamental. Su investigación y escritos sobre migración, comercio y estándares laborales en el contexto de globalización ha aparecido en revistas académicas top y su libro Suburban Sweatshops: The Fight for Immigrant Rights ha sido publicado por Harvard University Press. La profesora Gordon también ha escrito sobre estos tópicos en The New York Times, Foreign Policy, The Nation y varios otros medios de prensa. Al inicio en su carrera, fundó y dirigió el Workplace Project, un centro pionero de trabajadores inmigrantes en los Estados Unidos. Asimismo, Gordon ha recibido el MacArthur Prize Fellowship y el Open Society Fellowship, y fue nombrada como una de las “Mujeres abogadas sobresalientes en los Estados Unidos” por National Law Journal.
